A beautiful story of healing. The scene in the attic between Illya and his Inner Child is absolutely brilliant, poignant and true. I'm so glad I had the chance to read this.

I really enjoyed this one. Napoleon being so patient and so understanding - it is a bit unusual(?) but very heart warming :-)

What a delightful surprise it was to find this story here! I of course, immediantly devoured it and was transported into that magical place where Napoleon and Illya's love is expressed so beautifully.

This was most emotionally satisfying. The little boy Illya will always live and this time he as well as the adult Illya soar over the horrible events to find love and healing.

Napoleon's love is absolute. Illya's trust is absolute. They are and will always be the perfect love story.

Lovely! I enjoyed the two separate points of view, first Illya's, then Napoleon's. Well written and plausible. Thanks for sharing.

Was happy to read the rest tonight -- thanks!

You made me commiserate for Napoleon. He's so controlled and to know that with Illya he has no defense; I can't imagine how bad he feels when Illya does nothing for all that time except shut him out.... and Napoleon can only wait. Thank heavens for his plan B!

The visual I came away with was him sitting watching over Illya in the hospital -- wanting so much.

Hello, dear ChannelD!

As ever, so pleased to see stories by you. ALas, time is short lately, so I've only read the first part of the story so far, but I wanted to say a quick thanks.

I was so touched by Illya's companion. The way they protect each other was sweet (though sad as well).

And his fear of allowing love to enter is so understandable, so real -- it can be such a powerful thing. Glad Polya is so stubborn.

Love forward to reading the rest of the tale soon!
