This was such a wonderful story that it filled me with the spirit of Christmas even though it's May. This will be put on my list of holiday 'must reads' and as traditional as hanging a stocking and placing the star on the top of my Christmas tree. Thank you so much for sharing it!

Just got around to reading this and was completely enchanted. I so love George and Illya. I also liked how you didn't make Illya the star of the play, as so many writers would have done, but just the third wise king. Did you intentionally make him the one who brings the myrrh - the bitter oil that symbolizes Christ's suffering? If you did, it was pure genius. If not, I am positive that you did it subconsciously. I also love how you always bring Napoleon into the picture and show how Illya's childhood experiences affect their relationship, and vice versa. Can you tell how big of a fan I am? Your COM,CON series I think is my favorite of the entire fandom. The series, and this story is no exception, has brought me to tears more than once. I love the way you write Illya as a child, the relationship between George and Illya and the way Illya loves him and how much George fell in love with him.

I love the way you describe the growing trust between George and the little boy Illya is. The boy still seeing everything as a test, at which he will most likely fail. And then thereīs George doing his best to assure him that being a child is not about to ībeing testedī so failure is not an issue at all... Itīs a sweet Christmas tale in one of my favorite fantoms and I would like to thank you for sharing it with us. May you write many more of these gems :-)
