this is very beautiful and very touching. I like the way you describe Napoleon´s turmoil, all the way keeping in touch with Illy´s inner turmoil. They progress , each in its own way, to the culminating point of the story. Illya´s inner monologue keeps pace with Napoleon´s problems and tribulations, until at the end everything blends together. I like this story very very much ... But then again, I like all your stories very, very much :)
